technique

Tiny Titans and Junior Champs

Here’s a drill you can do with your child to build inversion skills.

Adult all-level bjj

There is a simple defense for the under-arm front bearhug. Step back with one leg to establish a base and to create a little more space. Place both of your palms under your opponent’s chin and push back. Drive the chin upward to break their bearhug grip. If your arms are trapped (their arms over yours), there is a hip throw we will cover next week.

Adult Fundamentals

Struggling with your inversions? Practice these solo drills form José.

Adult Advanced

Coach Shane gives a preview of the solo-based drilling we’ll be doing when the school reopens. Practice this sequence to get back in shape.

Hybrid Kickboxing

Unfortunately, HKB is pressing pause and will resume at a date following the re-opening of the school. Coach Mike explains in the video above. This week’s Thursday class will be a recap of the material covered throughout the pandemic. Come ready to work, and with questions.
